Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to love SEOSpectator. If you don't — for any reason — we'll refund you. This policy explains exactly how cancellation and refunds work.

1. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

All paid plans (Pro, Team, Business) come with a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you cancel within 7 days of your first paid subscription charge, we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.

To request a refund within 7 days: Email billing@seospectator.com with your account email. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days back to the original payment method.

2. Monthly Plans — Cancel Anytime

You can cancel a monthly subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation:

  • Takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle — you keep access until then
  • Does NOT trigger an automatic refundfor the current cycle (we don't prorate monthly cancellations)
  • Stops all future charges immediately

Exception: monthly cancellations within the first 7 days of your first charge ARE eligible for a full refund (see Section 1).

3. Annual Plans — Prorated Refund

Annual plans can be cancelled at any time. Refunds are calculated as follows:

  • Cancel within 14 days of charge: Full refund
  • Cancel 15-90 days after charge: Prorated refund of unused months minus a 10% administrative fee
  • Cancel after 90 days: No refund — but you keep access until your annual term ends

4. How to Cancel

You can cancel anytime in two ways:

  1. Self-serve: Sign in → Dashboard → Account → Cancel subscription
  2. Email request: Send a cancellation request to billing@seospectator.com from your account email. We will process within 1 business day.

5. Failed Payments

If a recurring payment fails (e.g., expired card):

  • We will retry up to 3 times over 7 days
  • You will receive email notifications
  • If all retries fail, your account is downgraded to the Free tier — no negative balance, no debt, no collections

6. Refund Processing Time

Once approved, refunds are credited as follows:

  • Indian customers via Cashfree: 5-7 business days back to original UPI/card/bank account
  • International customers via PayPal: 3-5 business days back to PayPal balance or original card

Bank processing times may add additional delays beyond our control.

7. What's NOT Refundable

  • The Free tier (it's free — nothing to refund)
  • Customers terminated for violating our Terms of Service (e.g., fraud, abuse)
  • Add-on services purchased separately (one-time consultations, Enterprise onboarding fees)
  • Annual plans cancelled after 90 days (see Section 3)

8. Disputes and Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please email us first at billing@seospectator.com. We resolve 95%+ of issues within 24 hours.

Initiating a chargeback through your bank or card issuer without contacting us first will result in immediate account suspension until the dispute is resolved.
